NAIROBI CITY TOUR - 3 HOURS

The tour covers the modern city center, the colorful market, parliament, Museum and the renowned National Museum where there are spellbinding displays of the early man, tribal regalia, and the Flora and Fauna of Kenya. A visit to the adjacent snake park is also included .

NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK - 4 HOURS

The tour starts from your hotel to this unique wildlife sanctuary which is just a few kilometers from Nairobi 's bustling city center, but despite its proximity, different species of mammals can be found there, including four of the 'Big Five'. The tour also includes a visit to the animal orphanage at the park gate. The tour returns to the city center by sundown. Private tour can be organized in the morning.

OUT OF AFRICA - KAREN BLIXEN - GIRAFFE CENTRE 3 HOURS

Depart in the morning or afternoon. Drive towards the Ngong Hills and pass the Ngong Village to the Karen Blixen Museum , for many years her home. Later proceed to the Giraffe Centre to see and feed the famous Rothschild Giraffe and her Family. 

CARNIVORE EXPERIENCE - LUNCH OR DINNER

Nairobi has many restaurant offering a variety of cuisine. We recommend dinner or lunch at the carnivore that is famous for its succulent stew and barbecue dishes as an excellent complement to a holiday in Kenya , especially as a well-come or farewell dinner. This is the restaurant that serves game meat i.e. zebra, giraffe, ostrich, impala, heartbeat, crocodile, eland and many others. After dinner you can join the local disco goers in the Simba restaurant.

The National Park, only 8kms from the city center, is Nairobi 's pride, for no other building capital can boast a paradise of wildlife almost on its doorstep. The morning is spent tracking some of the many species found in the park, which include Rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard and cheetah. After lunch at carnivore Restaurant continue to Bomas of Kenya for a fiesta of traditional music and dance. The tour ends in Nairobi in the early evening

KIAMBETHU TEA FIRM
On your arrival at the Kiambethu Tea Estate, you will be guests for lunch and afternoon tea. The Kiambethu Estate is located at an altitude of 7000 feet above sea level, and has lush acres of tea plantations that seem to vanish in the horizon. Two English families, Mitchell & McDonnell in the early 1900's, built the Estate. These families are said to be the first to have ventured into the tea business. You will also have a lecture on the area and about the production of tea. In the afternoon, a walk through the tea plantations and forests will display the conditions needed for the growth of tea.

The lecture on growth of tea is a good learning experience. For instance, you will see tea pickers on the farm plucking the top two leaves and bud from each plantation. Tea needs good rainfall, which is plenty in the region so tea is picked all year round. After the tea is picked, they are sent to the factories to be processed and sold to local and export markets. Kenya is the third largest producer of tea after Sri Lanka and India.
