SIRIMON-CHOGORIA ROUTE
DAY 1 -
Transfer from your Nairobi hotel to the Sirimon park gate (alt. 2700m ). After a picnic lunch start an acclimatization hike through the bamboo forest to arrive at the Old Moses camp ( alt. 3200m ) in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 2 -
Depart after breakfast and attempt the hike up the moorland vegetation enjoying the amazing lobelia trees and the beautiful valleys of sirimon and mackinders to arrive at the Shiptons camp ( altitude.4200m ) in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Trekking time----6-7 hrs.

DAY 3 -
Wake up at 03.00hrs and attempt the scree to the summit of the point Lenana ALT. 4985M to catch up with sunrise. After a photo session descend down to Mintos Hut alt.4300m for breakfast. Afternoon is spent exploring the wonderful gorges and tarns. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 4 -
Depart after breakfast and descend further down enjoying the spectacular view of the Vivian falls, the lake Michaelson and the Nithi valley to arrive at Meru Mt. Kenya Lodge in time for lunch. Dinner and overnight at the bandas.

Trekking time --6 hrs . An Altitude of 2700m
DAY 5 -
After breakfast, start the hike through the splendid bamboo vegetation and the tropical forest to connect with the transfer vehicle back to Nairobi
